For EDWOOD, supporting local talent is more than just patronage – it is an investment in the values that form the foundation of every strong organization. It was with great pride and satisfaction that we followed the efforts of the representatives of Biała Podlaska during the 2nd IISA (International Ice Swimming Association) European Championships in picturesque, albeit frosty, Molveno, Italy.
Sport discipline, business stability
Ice swimming is a discipline that requires not only superhuman physical condition, but above all an iron will and grueling discipline. At EDWOOD, we believe that these same qualities are decisive for success in the business world. Stable foundations, precise planning, and the ability to adapt to difficult conditions are values that connect our company with the champions of ice.
As a partner, we are delighted that our support has allowed the competitors to focus on what they do best—pushing the limits of human capabilities.
Historical results of our representatives
The Polish national team confirmed its status as a world power in ice swimming, and the competitors from Biała Podlaska played a key role in this success. The medal tally of our champions commands the utmost respect:
- Wilhelm Gromisz: unrivaled in his class, he won four gold medals, becoming the pillar of the team.
- Iga Olszanowska: she showed incredible form, winning a gold medal and setting a world record in her category, complementing this achievement with three bronze medals.
- Michał Jagiełło: He won two gold medals, adding a world record and a bronze medal to his achievements.
Local pride, global reach
The successes in Molveno prove that with the right support from local businesses, Biała Podlaska can be a global talent factory. For EDWOOD, cooperation with athletes is part of a broader strategy to build a strong local community.

Employee development is our best investment
At Edwood, we create conditions for everyone to develop their skills and achieve their professional goals. That is why we are fully committed to investing in our employees’ education. We provided support to Patrycja Ruszkowska, who, thanks to our funding, completed her master’s degree in Wood Technology at the University of Life Sciences in Poznań. We covered all expenses related to her studies, accommodation and travel.
Patrycja currently holds the position of Production Master, combining academic knowledge with practical experience.
Her career path is a source of pride for us and an incentive to continue supporting the competences of our employees.
Edwood supports summer adventures for our employees’ children!
We are proud to support the wellbeing of our employees and their families. From July 31 to August 8, 2025, our employees’ children will enjoy an exciting adventure-packed summer camp near Zakopane and Poronin in the beautiful Polish Tatra mountains.
Edwood covers 75% of the participation costs for our employees’ children, allowing them to experience unforgettable moments full of outdoor activities, mountain adventures, and great fun!

CHILDREN ACTIVITIES
Christmas contest for the children
The best works were selected and prepared as gifts, which we sent to our clients. The remaining artworks were donated for sale at the local Christmas market, where they could delight visitors. All proceeds from the sale were donated to a noble cause – the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity (WOŚP). We thank all the little artists for their creativity and dedication.
